The Different Teaching Degrees You Can Apply For

Teaching degrees are one of the most sought-after degrees today, both at online colleges and traditional universities. But getting teaching degrees is not simple. In fact, it comes in different specialization so those who wanted to pursue one have to make a decision as to which particular degree to take.

So you'll know the different teaching degrees you can possibly get, here they are:

1. General Education. Under general education, the Bachelor of Arts in Organizational Management specializing in education is an example. The general education degree category has a lot of masters and doctorate teaching degrees for professionals. Examples are Masters of Arts in Education and Doctor of University.

2. Adult and Higher Education. If you wanted to teach professionals instead of young students, you have to study a higher level of education yourself. You have to be holding either a masters or a doctorate degree. And before you can apply for one, you should have finished a bachelors degree.

3. Distance Education. Those who wanted to specialize in distance education have to study Instructional Design for Online Learning or e-Learning Technology and Design. These degrees are offered by Capella University and Jones International University respectively.

4. Early Childhood Education. To teach the younger ones poses to be a real challenge for some. The undergraduate programs under this category are Bachelor of Arts in Organizational Management major in Child Study or major in Early Childhood Education. The Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education also falls under it.

5. K12 Education. For the specialized K12 education, the Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education major in English, Science, or Math are your options. These are all undergraduate programs that you can pursue right after high school.
